How you can Help
5 little ways to make a big difference
In order to help any cause, you need to know what its all about. We encourage you to learn about what we're doing before you commit yourself to anything. The more you know, the more you can help. It is extremely important that people understand why we exist, what we're trying to do, and how we are going to achieve these important goals.
How to do it:
2. Spread the word!
The Nwagni Project is a brand-new, small, student run organization. That means that we are but a few voices amongst millions of people that are able to make a huge difference. The more people that know about us, the more chances we have for changing lives.
How to do it:
3. Donate!
We need money. In order to teach, learn, build and travel, we need monetary help. We work to raise our own funds, but personal donations are a major contribution and every dollar goes a great distance. Our goal in the next three years is $100,000.

4. Volunteer!
When we hold fundraising or awareness events, we are always looking for help to set-up, tear-down and organize ideas. Your time can be more important and more valuable than a monetary donation.
How to do it:
Look at our Upcoming Events page and look for dates and times that work for you
Find events that say "Looking for Help" near them
Contact one of our executive board members and ask them how you can be involved
5. Write letters!
Know someone who could help us financially or otherwise? Write them a letter telling them about our project! We can provide you with brochures and other information to send along with your personal letter if you would like it, simply contact one of our executive board members.
How to do it:
Include the following in your letter,
Why The Nwagni Project is important to you
How you heard about us
What we're trying to accomplish
How they can be involved or donate
Also, it's great to send a stamped and addressed envelope with your letter, to ensure a returned response of any kind. Just use our address or your own!
