The Personal.

Ah, Home.

Project 250 Essay.

I associate "personal" with my family, always the first thing that comes to mind.  I am truly thankful for my close relationships with these wonderful people (most of the time).  I have been raised under the supervision, love, and support of my parents.  My younger sis, Jenny, is three years younger than me.  My grandparents are right up there, I love them dearly.

I love my friends (they add fun to my life)!  I also love staying active.  I enjoy exercising (crazy as that sounds to some people, its one activity that keeps me sane)!  One of my favorite things is taking walks with my parents.  I go kayaking and canoeing quite often.  I am a runner at heart and do it several times a week (rain, snow, or shine--ask my running buddy, Zac, if you do not believe me).  I also love skiing--downhill, cross country, and water (I raced downhill in high school).  I enjoy water sports in general (I am from Lake Orion :).  Speeding around in a friend's boat during the summertime is one of my guilty pleasures.  If I am not out and about getting my heart racing, I like reading, historical fiction mainly (there's that history minor coming into play).  I love gardening (its a direct way to spend time with nature and my grandma's, not to mention I like pulling weeds).  I am a scrap-booker.  I really never get bored, because I find too many things to do!
